I have this problem in one of my tanks. Ive found thta its called needle tail. I keep mine isolated and always wash nets before putting hem in to other tanks. There is nothing you can do if it is needle tail

Mine used to breed in this They havent breed in awhile. The kribs took over the head and still havent breed. So I dont know whats going on Also this is what they do to mu sand

I saw those baby oscars yesturday. I couldnt find anything I wanted in fish section so we got a cat. Did you see the cool cat towers at the front of the store? And nice fridge reflection too

What water did you use to fill up the plastic tank? Pre cycled? or new? Also my suction caps or on the element part as there is no more room. Also dont forget that the albino IMO are a lot weaker than normal guppies

I have beach sand in mine and they love it. But I have found that in clear spaces that they will dig down to the glass bottom. So I have heaps of rocks and ornaments to keep the clear space down to a min so i dont have to look at the glass allday.

i want a 3m tank. I could be the fish then lol

In my sand tank (normal beach sand) i just use a net with about 2mm holes. Scoop up a net full and sift through the sand and check out all the gunk/crap in the net.

Hey there, I have never tried but at one of my LFS they have them in with goldfish. They are at about 18o room temp. You can usually get them off TM for around $5ea for 3-4cm ones.

Heya Everybody. Im wanting to know if anyone uses the breeding grass type artifical plants. eg. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=69278929 Do fish uses these? If so which fish? If i got one would it be a good idea to ct it up and make strips of plants? Put it in hole? As i have sand as my substrate its hard getting plants to stay in there. I have some fish (who i dont know) who like to nip the plants of just at the base above weight, so now i have many floating plants. I also have some others who eat all the leaves of the plants and now i have stems!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: Any ideas would be great. Cheers Pawz
