i'm using it in setting up a malawi tank. along with the coral sand it looks great. the PH is high because of this combo so wouldn't suit a 'normal' tropical setup.

any good spots anyone knows around auckland to get driftwood, rocks and shrimp?

we have video surveillance where it was taken from. not too clear but can see the faces and police ggoing to try get a clearer shot of the # plate etc... my LPS said they think they know the guy when i described him to them.

anyone know where's a good/cheap place to get coral rock? i had mines soaking in some water in a bucket outside and someone STOLE it last night!!! i can't afford to buy retail again just yet

i went into the LPS to get a filter and they hd a deal for a 5w UV sterilzer $99. Are they any good? Is maintenance $$$$$? Should i get it?

i'm setting up a malawi tank PH 7.8. i've always like plecos and clown loaches. i'm gettin mixed info as to whether these can go in this sort of tank. the only fish in there at the mo are elec yellows.
