Id say its probably because of stress but wtihout pics, tank setups etc we cant realy know for sure.... What size tank are they in and what tankmates do they have? they seem to be getting bullied at all?

Im not totaly sure. to be honest i dont even have an pp yet :lol: Put some water in a bucket and put enough pp in to make a nice pinky solution. Soak the plants in it for half an hour i believe. It should kill algae and snails -

Well yea thats the plan! It can be bought off trademe pretty cheap. you dont need alot at a time Search 'condys crystals' on trademe and you will find it. It is used to darken horses coats i think -

One thing i have learnt and will do from now on is to treat plants before you put them in your tank..... IMO potassium permanganate is best I learnt this the hard way :-? -
I havent no, i only have a crap camera, but caryl and paul billaney got some close ups of a beautiful male and female in a jar back at the cabin. they will post them when they can

well i bought 6 home and chucked them into a tank. all seem alright ATM, but we shall see!!!

I agree. Was a very fun morning. I caught about 10, but lost some of the smaller ones i had in the mud in the bucket. Came home with 6. I have a few pics i will put up in a minute, but caryl has heaps :lol:

Anyone going to the molly hunt have some spare bamboo? Im after some for my plecs etc. PM me if you want, i will be happy to pay. I may also have some spare plants there aswell 8) After stuff big enough for BN to breed, and smaller plecs to live in EDIT: just had a scout around in my tank and found yet another tiger lotus plant, and an aponogeton crispus plant. Anyone who brings bamboo can have first dibs, otherwise it will go to whoever :lol:

Found this game on another forum so thought i'd start it here.... Aim is to choose either this or that. For example i would write... Crackers or biscuits And the next person may write... Crackers... Purple catfish, that is so awesome! I just went out to buy some nets.... went to the first shop; 'sorry we are sold out', second shop; 'sorry we are sold out', third shop; ' sorry we are sold out.... 5 shops later, i get 'oh, our shop in papamoa has them..... I just came from papamoa, forgot to go to one shop..... Go back to papamoa and find shop... 'excuse me do you have blah blah blah', ah yes we have one more.... YES! :lol: So now im partially sorted :roll:
