Hello all! After reading ghostface's post about LED lighting i have decided to make myself an LED rig for 'Moonlight' Anyway i used to consider myself quite the handy man when it came to electricity (back when i was 13) but these days i just get confused! So what im after is an LED 'Dimmer' so i can change the intensity of the LED's. Does anyone know how to do this in the cheapiest and simpliest way? Or does anyone have any schematics i can have? (I've google'ed it but i just confused myself even more!) Cheers Rory

How much room do i have for more tanks? I say the sky is the limit! (the bank seem to think otherwise however!) 'I'm working on that...' Well im actually thinking i'll give him away once i get back to wellington (im a student) provided he survives the trip! I was watching him tonight and he seems a little skitish, indicating to me that he wants more room, and i don't like the idea of keeping him in a small tank all stressed out. My Guarame seems fine however! pondering around, shecking out the stones and bubbles. So if anyone wants a silver dollar in wellington i'll be coming down late janurary (he really doesn't look well, he's got a large nick out of his tail, he has a small lump on his back and he also lost a few scales when transporting! ) Rory

hey everyone im new here and a newbe as some have already discovered! Anyway i have an 90L tank with a silver dollar and a silver (moonlit ?) Guarame. They (silver dollar in particular) may be a little big for the tank but im working on that problem... Rory

Well i'll try sort something out (ive got heaps of time before i go) Im gonna have a few issues cause i'll get to wellington then as soon as i arrive i have to start looking for a new flat! oh man, the joys of being a student!

Wow! Thanks for all the replies. This forum is Buzzing!!! I think i'll use a chillibin and try and make the trip in one day (13+ hours, oh dang) and i'll take a few 20L containers of cycled water to get them started in wellington. Cheers, Rory

Ok im gonna be moving from Kaitaia (yep thats about 5 hours north of auckland) all the way to wellington, i only have a Silver dollar and a Silver Guarame but they are adult in size (10+cms). But im worried about how to move them! How long will these fish last in a bag? (seperate bags of course) i also have a poly container. I've read the stickie about posting but im still a bit unsure about what size bags to use and how long i can go without stopping. Any suggestions appriciated! Cheers

Hey everyone, How do i get the suction cups (ie the ones on the heaters) to stick to the inside of my aquarium? they never seem to stay there longer than overnight. But when ever i go into a shop their heaters are always stuck on! This gets annoying
