I've noticed this as well on my severums and other large cichlids. The teeth on the jaw are noticable on the gold severum, but possibly less noticable on the green - However I do beleive they all have teeth.

I have two oscars in a 100 gal. They are 9" now and are only about 6 months old. I feed them various dry foods, shrimp, snails, earthworms, and mealworms. They also eat some of the algae discs I put in for the pleco. I keep the temp around 83-84 and try and feed them three times a day. cram
  5. Have red devils, JD, oscars, severums and lots of red devil/convict hybrids which are very aggressive. The oscars are pretty mellow, but don't appreciate company very much, so they are on their own!! cram Oh Midas - that is one buff looking Midas in your avatar!! - It looks like it used steroids or something - Is it yours?? cram
