    Trout

Trout must be keeped in a large tank at a temp of 8C to 15C (so a chiller or air-con room is a must), a neutral pH is best but 6.7 to 8.2 is OK. They like a strong current and very highly oxygenated water 5.0 ppm+ (bring a river fish) so put a few powerhead's ect... in the tank. (and use a BIG filter, sump ect...) and air pumps. They are also very territorial so lot's of rock's and hiding place's are a good idea.
  4. Fertilized eggs look transparent, non-fertilized eggs turn white (remove the bad ones as they will grow fungus which may spread to the good ones) Use a sponge filter in the fry tank.

    ID please

Cigar Shark (Leptobarbus hoevenii) . I think
  6. Goldfish eggs take about 5day at 21C, 7days at 18C. To give the fry the best chance to survive you should bring the water level down to 15cm (so they do not get crushed by the weight of the water). Once they have hatched they will feed on their yolk sack for about 3days, When they have finished their yolk sack start feeding them small foods like BBS, microworms, liquid food, crushed hard boiled egg yolk, crushed flake food, ect...
  7. Ive been using king 3's in my sump's for about a year with out any problems.
  8. Great Twin-Bar yellows there Keri Anne.
  9. Once they reach 10cm in shell length they can be reduced to one feed per day.

  14. You can get non-hatching (dead) and hatching (live) decapsulated bbs. I use non-hatching.
  15. Yeah a 1.5 litre coke bottle. To keep the temp at 26°C you can put a light bulb next to the bottle or put the bottle in a heated tank.
