Here I was thinking the GKF and the GG were eating them and its a very small long finned eel thats in the tank, this eel is so small and I would have thought there was no way it could have got one in its mouth. Think snake and antelope syndrome.

Moral of the story:long finned eels will take live food and that the rule of thumb of the bigger fish than the size of the predator does not apply.

I think so, this eel lay on the bottom unable to swim with a stomach three times the size of the rest of it.
