I am just curious about the cost to run a 300W aquarium heater. Can someone calculate the rough cost per month for me? Really hope im not the one causing the household electicity bill to go up! Thank you!!! :slfg:

    It would depend on too many variables.. The amount it would cost is dependant on how long it is on so it woudl depend on the size of the tank, how insulated it was and the ambient temperature of the room.

    I think someone stuck up a calculator on here a while back..

    with the measurements of the tank in the spreadsheet I don't understand the x and y components. what do I put in them?

    It's just the dimensions of each glass pane... e.g. front glass pane - x is width and y is height
