How long after treating your tank

Furan 2 - Last day of treatment will be Sunday. We were going to go on a fish buying expedition next week before our fish got sick. Deciding if we need to change plans for next week.

i don't know that much about this sort of thing, but i would have thought that you'd be better off waiting a while to make sure you'd resolved the issue. doesn't seem like a good idea to risk losing the 2nd lot of fish out of impatience.

Probably best to wait, especially if you have treated with an anti-biotic it will probably have killed some of the bacteria in your filter so you tank will probably have to recycle anyway. Also best to let the current fish recover a bit before adding new fish and potentially stressing them out.
