Turtle hatchlings with duckweed - vids

Featured Replies

Couple of short vids i took late last night. I normally just give the turtles duckweed, but azolla has taken over most of my troughs as of late, as it sometimes does. Anyway the turtles were sleeping whilst floating in the azolla. So i turned the radio and lights on which sure enough woke them  then i took a vid and a few photos to really wake them up :D

2nd vid theres a nice moment we shared at about 20seconds in, enjoy :D

me neither. Or maybe they sound like someone squeezing a duck like a bagpipe

haven't tried that either though it could be fun 8)

We have a cat that sounds like a set of bagpipes when you pick it up - silly grumpy thing

I have heard them make a noise freakishly similar to that of a duck in the past :o

Was actually a female frog, yes female frogs can be vocal too, they grunt alot.
