i purchased a betta and its naturally a grumpy fish its even killed my neon tetras any ideas why.

How big is your tank? I've heard they'll kill if they get bothered.

What tail type is it? How big is the tank? What are its tankmates? Does it have any plants or places to hide? Did you see it kill the Neon?

My betta seems to hate yellow fish, chases my gba and a yellow molly (which i had to take out cos of the betta bothering her) but left the bronze corys and whiptails alone :-?

Maybe yours hates red and blue fish?? :roll:

i just put two baby bristle nose catfish in with my male betta, and he chased them round the tank now i can see one hiding,. but dunno bout number two. daughter says he killed it. but i dunno, he is a small fighter himself. doing a water change tomorrow. so hopefully i find them both alive and well. jsut wanted them to clean the tank.
