Neolamprologus tretocephalus

Featured Replies

Cool - good to hear they are still aliving and kicking (so to speak)!

They are awesome fish, very vivid blue and I love their fin shapes too, nice and rounded! :D

They not to nasty compared to Tropheus.

Had 6 of these guys for about 8 years but never got close to breeding them. All past away now. I have 4 six bars now(Neolamprologus sexfasciatus) and have seen eggs inside a cave once but no luck with fry. Will keep trying.

Oh cool! 6 bars are nice too. How do you find them agression-wise? I thought that once one have paired off they can get really nasty... what size thank are they in? Any pics??!

Got pics of both but havent sorted out how to upload yet. One day I'll make a effect.

Both where and are in 4 foot tanks and alls well.(fingers crossed) :D

Yeap 6 bars can be very aggressive aswell...

The trets are doing well fishy_t :D growing fast now and mellowed out a wee bit but yeap can go through the odd vicious moment.. had one shifting stones the other day..
