I have a community tank with one Angelfish and last night I'm almost positive that it spawned. I thought that Angels needed to be in pair before this would happen??

how do you think it spawned ? , angels lay eggs on a flat surface so you will see them unless there eatern before you can, but then you would not have "thought" they spawned...

yes but the eggs wont hatch

females commonly lay eggs by themselves or with other female partners (one resumes the male role but obviously nothing happens). Its fairly common and nothing to worry about, gives her something to fuss over for a few days :lol:
