Siamese Fighters

Featured Replies

Not sure where to post this so may need to be moved. Has anyone around the Auckland area heard anything about siamese fighters being used at the moment for fights? Just a feeling I have.

Thats what I understood too but thats not what I think I've been hearing up here. I thought it was the short fin males that were used and the breeds recommended to be more vicious.

That would be really sad if they were being used in organised fights. I know there will always be some idiots who will put a couple together "just to see what happens" but if it's organised fights then that's another whole level of deliberate cruelty.

I hope if anyone does get evidence of this, that they will report it to the SPCA and that it will get shut down as soon as possible. I presume the same rules apply as they would to other animals being used for fighting, like dogs or roosters or whatever?

I haven't heard anything, but will be keeping an ear out for it now

The things some people do to get their jollies, it's as if there aren't any other ways to amuse themselves....
