Joze
Here I was thinking the GKF and the GG were eating them and its a very small long finned eel thats in the tank, this eel is so small and I would have thought there was no way it could have got one in its mouth. Think snake and antelope syndrome. Moral of the story:long finned eels will take live food and that the rule of thumb of the bigger fish than the size of the predator does not apply. Caryl
Are they like the snakes that can unhinge their jaws to get larger prey inside?
Joze
I think so, this eel lay on the bottom unable to swim with a stomach three times the size of the rest of it.
