Not enough?? Any potential conflict?? Cheers

pixiejanet
I`d take it easy, need to work out how many inches of fish you`re planning and i think in your tank, no more than 30" of fish, (that`s fully grown) they will grow quite quickly and if you overstock you will have problems, i rushed in when i should have done my homework first. Read up on what fishies you want, and find out what size they grow to! even then i`d still keep asking and checking..
Southerrrngirrl
I have been reading up on these fish and did a quick calculation of how much the fish would be at maximum size 114cm.
SpidersWeb
I'd say thats fine. Nice selection there, and you'd be fine with 155 litres. I would recommend splitting the purchasing up over 3 or more visits to the LFS though. Go for the Cardinals
Southerrrngirrl
Yes that was the plan Spidersweb!
Southerrrngirrl
I wasn't planning on buying any more fish till my partner and I came back from holiday but I was a little concerned at the "attention" one of the silvertips was getting from the other two. They were chasing one and it looked quite stressed out so I thought I'd purchase 3 more silvertips to take the heat off the one being chased, which was in my plan anyways.. but then once at the LFS I couldn't resist getting some Bronze corys. I sure am glad I got those little fellas! My partner and I both spent the next 30 mins watching their antics after adding them to the tank. Two of them straight away started scuffling through the gravel while one sort of just clamped its fins and sat on the bottom. I was worried but 5 mins later it joined the other two exploring the tank. I knew they were active fish, but man these guys don't seem to stop! fishboi
one of the silvertips was getting from the other two. They were chasing one and it looked quite stressed out so I thought I'd purchase 3 more silvertips to take the heat off the one being chased its probably been chased because its the only female [these breed like crazy in a well planted tank] it would only solve the problem if u get a couple more female in ur next lot of purchase of silver tips. if u end up getting 3 more male.... Southerrrngirrl
Yeah thats what I thought.. I can only hope that I got more females. I did tell the assistant to get the ones with less colour (the males go quite a brozny gold colour right?) at least two of my old ones had turned a bronzy/gold colour.. 1 in particular was almost orange, he's quite pretty, very bright and vibrant. The 3 new ones are VERY bland and pale in comparison to the old ones. So fingers crossed the new ones are female.. I guess time will tell.
