Keri Anne
Yes, this is posted in Private T&E too. WTB Red Moscow/solid shade guppies. (Trio perfered) Hi everybody, I’m looking for some good solid red guppies [preferably line breed] the darker the better. I want them for line breeding as I believe that it is a beautiful form but also have a few projects up my sleeve. Moscow’s preferred – all considered. *Must have strong colouration on dorsal fin please. Also interested in other solid colours, especially dark blues. Will consider any solid colours offered. Thank you, KA

Keri Anne
Not much to swap atm... although my baby BN's were free-swiming on the 3rd so maybe them in a few weeks. No guppies for sale atm, swordtails are too young and so are platties.... I do have a double bed base than needs a new home.... (Used to live in what is now the fish room)

Keri Anne
Do they have both males and females? Are they line breed? Can you ask them if they'd ship to Naiper and how much?? Would be really cool if you could give them my e-mail and ask them to e-mail me some info. [email protected]
Fishman
They were from a breeder who got some Discus from him, I will ask him if he can ship it for you, if there is anything left tomorrow.
Peter McLeod
Don't know if this will help much. But if you find a decent moscow male with no strain females you could possibly try using a snakeskin female, they aparently origionated from snakeskins somehow. Not sure if this has anything to do with the snakeskin patern covering more of the guppies body or not. Just an idea. Will try to find some more information. Peter McLeod
Found a peice of information in my guppy designer CD ROM. Moscows deffinately origionated from snakeskins. Early strain moscows that apeared in germany had alot of snakeskin patern, and aparently some moscow strains still put out a snakeskin or cobra paterned male occasionally. Keri Anne
Thank you Peter, I'm having a great deal of trouble finding info on guppy DNA. Any books etc you could recommend?
Peter McLeod
http://www.fullredguppy.com. Prety good stuff there including the guppy designer CD. If your really serious about breeding you could find it very useful.
