I presume it would be too cold in the lake so are they in some sort of greenhouse or something? Would be fun to take the grandson in to see them. suphew Posted June 16, 2006 Report Share Posted June 16, 2006 there is also a lot of fish (or at least there were) in the outdoor pond just up the road from the begonia house, near where they used to do the outdoor concerts. Gold fish are fine outside in Wlg, if fact when I was more interested in my pond a read about a number of people in the UK who's ponds used to freeze over during the winter and the fish would be fine.
