Luke*
Hey Jordan, yous would be using a 45 x 30 x 30cm or 60 x 30 x 30cm tank, some even use half that with great results. The smaller size is usually better because the fry have less distance to cover to find food, and therefore less energy spent searching for it and more energy used for growing. You just need to do water changes a bit more regularly than you would in a larger tank. I've raised discus babies in a 60gal (220L tank) but then they're a lot bigger than your average dwarf cichlid

BK
If you have any luck I'm keen and any other dwarfs as well. Using a 2x1x1 for a pair of cockatoos but having no luck keeping the females alive.
HandS
i breed and rase all of my apistos/dwarf cichlids in a 30x30x30 and i have a 75x40x30 for when the fry get bigger, but as luke said, regular water changes are the key. Good luck :bounce: :bounce:
2fishy
how do u stop sucking the fry up the siphon? I Am careful but they are so hard to see!
antwan
stick ur finger over the end of the siphon that goes into the bucket, slows down the flow so the fry can swim away from it.
