showtime
Are any of my fish not suitable with Discus? I have Angels, Clown loaches, Rummy nose tetras, Mollies, Guppies, Dwarf Gouramis, Siamese AE, Neons, Harlequins, and wanting Cardinal Tetras. dimebag
hey showtime, most of these should be fine, tho im not sure about mollies or sae, never had them before  some people keep angels with discus, others dont, id do a bit more research on this and make your own decision how big is your tank? and how many other fish are in it already? u probably need to consider all this before going and buying discus dont be put off tho theyre awesome fish with great personality
Discusguru
I wouldn't put Angels, Molly, Gourami, Neon and Guppy in with Discus. Rummy, Cardinals, Harlequin are OK. SAE is OK as long as they don't latch on to the discus. This is just my opinion. Ron

sharn
i agree with ronnie, alot of angels have internal parasites (this is a topic alot of people argue about) that they are very good at hiding, if you want to keep the two together worm those angels. they are also boisterous feeders, and while discus can be too the angels just seem to have a bit more grunt. clowns are great but i have read about them upsetting discus at night due to their nocturnal habits. rummies are also good. mollies, guppies and DG i wouldnt suggest, i think they perfer cooler waters and wont last long in 28-31C (not sure bout the DG though). DG are also known to be good bug carriers. neons will perish in their higher heats and will become discus snacks. SAE can latch onto the discus harlequins and cardinals are another great choice for dithers. keep in mind discus need at least 40L per fish
