sharn
congrats matey! apparently with some plants you can cut off that flower and then it will send out a runner, but that doesnt apply to all plants so wait for more info on what to do with them. your plants must be real happy to be doing that so good job :bounce:
Fishkeepa
Awesome Tank great planting and the darker substrate has great effect :bounce:
skippy
Hey there LJ, I'm a reefy and freshwater tanks don't normally press my buttons, but your one looks great. Congrats, you must be stoked. Keep it up (BTW - has the girlfriend come around to it yet?) Cheers Skippy
ljtan55
apparently with some plants you can cut off that flower and then it will send out a runner Thanks for the info, it seems to just keep on growing taller and taller, no sign of the bud yet. Thanks for the kind words sharn, fishkeepa and skippy, lol esp coming from a reefer. Nope girlfriend has not come around . Then again I was late half an hour to see her cos I was putting the cories in the tank  . The sterbai cories have gone in the main tank after quarantine isolation for a week, they were all shy and quiet in the small tank but BOOM in the big tank they're dive bombing the glass and going crazy!! Just a littttle bit longer before I go discus shopping 8)
Caper
They had a tank at WalMart the other tank, looks similar to yours, but a 46 gallon (174L). This one had a bow front, does yours? If so, do you find it distorts the view any? It doesn't look it in your wonderful pics.
ljtan55
Only on the side view otherwise you don't notice it much. Makes cleaning easier easier with a appriate size sponge, and I dont' get paranoid the seals are gonna leak.
ljtan55
Was just uploading some pics and just realised watta big difference a couple of months make. Then June 2006 Now October 2006 Like how the plants were doing, but I can't say I don't miss the space before . I just love how there are TONS of fishes in the tank - it bordering on being overstocked and they all hide when a camera comes out. I've got photo-phobic fishes..
