Should work fine.

How many you'd need depends on the dimensions of your tank. 4X2X2, two would be ok, maybe a bit underlit but anemones would be ok directly under them high in the tank. Longer or taller and probably more like 3-4.

That's exactly what I use, brand new cost $135.00 plus bulb, a couple of years ago. Bear in mind the bulbs in the units you're looking at are unlikely suitable for a marine tank, you would have to buy new ones.

Also, depends what you are keeping Buzzy. There are many, or even most, corals that will do fine if you only have 2 x 150 watt halides over a tank that size. Some of the corals with high light needs will do better with more, but generally you could pull it off with 2 only, you may get some lower light corners, where you could put some lower light corals. All depends how much money you want to spend.

anemones are as demanding if not more demanding of light then hard corals, and h. magnifica is one of the harder ones to keep (i.e. more light more flow). would be a nice tank, IMHO save the money now and go straight to the 250's I think you would have to upgrade soon if you go with the 150's

hay have you considered going to a single 400w?? normally i wouldn't think this was such a good idea becuase you wouldn't get the spread of light over the whole tank but you could put a bommy in the middle of the tank for the anemone, 400w right over top of it. you can get a new 400w ballist for around $100 and no need to have glass between the bulb and tank with SE bulbs so making a reflector is easy

do you recommend any brand/type of 400w ballasts bulb holders etc??? where can i get one from?

both the guys who I know that either supply or have these are banned at the moment, lol. Give radium (sp?) lighting in Auckland a call, I think this is where the came from, they are remote ballists.
