Fingol
Does anyone know how big these get? Have read some conflicting info so far. Somewhere on the net I read between 8-10 cm today but I remember reading they get as big as Rainbow sharks...mine is about 12 cm (maybe he is still growing though). Then Aquarium fishes of the world says 15 cm. My two are about 6 cm now.

suphew
fish often get larger in the wild and of course the genes form the parents makes a difference so there is no way to give absolute numbers. the size quoted is often the max you should expect a fish to get to, but is some times the average size. your best bet is to check a few sites to get an idea. Alan
I saw a huge male years ago in an Ellerslie aquarists tank. 150mm and everthing shifted when he came out to eat. He even had a track worn from his hideaway to the feeding station. Alan
