donahb
Hi I acquired a smallish plastic "hexafun" tank - can this have a heater put in it? May be a silly Question but thought I would ask? Thanks :-?
Warren
I should think so. As long as you chose an appropriately sized one (not too big) it should be fine. The only reason I mention not too big is if it becomes faulty and stays on the temperature may get hot enough to distort the plastic. Ira
Make sure the heater isn't touching the plastic. You'd probably be ok if it was, my heaters seem to only get a bit warm when running. But you might get a hot spot and over time it might distort the plastic a bit like warren said.
