Keri Anne Posted March 17, 2006 Report Share Posted March 17, 2006 I’m quite fascinated by catfish and the other night the HBAS had a meeting about “Tetras, Catfish and Oddballs†followed by an auction. I was lucky enough to get my hands on the 2 Dwarf Hara Hara (Moth) Catfish. So, like I do whenever I get a new type of fish, I went home to diligently search the net and get more information about my new babies. (How to sex, breeding etc.) To my great surprise I found basically nothing. These are beautiful fish and I want to give them the best environment. If I have a male and a female I’d also be interested in trying to breed them further down the track. Can anybody either point me in the direction of some good books or share information from their own experiences with these wonderful fish? Thank you, Keri Anne. Here's one of many websites that touch on the sexing and breeding of them. Not much is said aside from that they spawned in a mop.... Good luck and enjoy them! The Scotcat page seems to have the most info from what I have been able to track down. Wet Pets currently has a few of them, I will be picking mine up next weekend.
