Richard Posted April 22, 2003 Report Share Posted April 22, 2003 I was visiting a few fish shops over the weekend, and found out that one of the shops have imported 2 pairs of flowerhorns into NZ. They are currently in quarantine. I thought they would not be allowed into NZ? Maybe I am wrong... hope they don't start a craze here... cos as far as I know... these fish breed like crazy... They are quite pretty given the multiple varieties that you can get. I know that people will say that they have been cross bred for their colours, but what is the difference between these fish and Discus and Goldfish that are bred in this manner also? Ira Posted April 23, 2003 Report Share Posted April 23, 2003 Quite a big difference actually. Goldfish and discus are just bred within their species for certain traits.
