LYNDYLOO
Hi Guys, I'm going into Hospital on the 27th Jan for an OP, will be in there for 5 days, I have Angel fry that will only be about 2 weeks old when I go in, not sure how I'm gonna feed them while I'm not here, Hubby and my 4 boys aren't quite as dedicated as I am, read a post by Billaney saying he put crushed Lettuce in the tank to grow infursoria for the fry to eat, would this be suitable feeding for the fry for the 5 days that I am not here? Any other ideas would be great. Lynda
Pegasus
At two weeks old they will probably be able to take finely crushed flake food. The Infusoria would sustain them.. but wouldn't give them much in the way of sustenance. Ideal way would be to prepare the food in small packets so that there would be no mistake of overfeeding by the fish sitter. Bill.
Alan
I'd shove in a heap of teased out java moss. Alan
LYNDYLOO
Good Idea's Guys and I got a heap of Java Moss too. Also abit concerned about the water changes? thought if I put in a sponge filter that may be enough untill I get home to keep the water good. Thanks Lynda
Dimsum
Not sure how big/little angles are at 2 weeks but you could try daphnia. They can live in fresh water, if the fish do not eat the adults then they will produce little daphnia to keep the fish fed.
