Alan
How does this tank earn the "Top Tank" rating?? I believe the lighting is not strong enough. I base it on the fact that the ambulia that is shown has large gaps between the leaves. With higher lighting, the ambulia won't look so 'leggy' and more bunched. alanmin4304
Could it be that it is above the lower tank?
alanmin4304
How many hours a day do you have the lights on?
Nrc101
bout 12 hours! i have a timer but dunno how to work it! do u mean higher watts of ligthing?
alanmin4304
With adequate lighting Ambulia grows with the whorls closer together so that each strand is more dense. You could increase the hours the lights are on or add more lights.
Alan
What lights do you have over the tank? 12 hours should be enough, but obviously the wattage is too low. Alan NZKA
Caryl
Nice pics. Just a suggestion - next time you take a photo cover the top of the tank (and light) with a towel or something so the only light is shining directly into the tank. It will look even better
