Sayhi2steve
 My local water supply contains sodium flouride and I use it in my tanks. It doesnt seem to affect my fish, but was just wondering if anyone knew or had theories on its affects on our fine finned friends. I know there is a debate about if its any good for people some recon its great others say its crap. WHAT DO YOU THINK ???
Caryl
I would assume it did not harm fishes since so many water supplies have it added. Perhaps it strengthens their little bones (and teeth for those that have them). I object to it being added to the water supply on principle. hgjansen
 I would prefer not to use fluoridated water, it is after all a poisonous chemical. Other chemicals such as ammonium sulfate have to be added to the water supply as well in order to stabilize the fluoride, etc. etc. Hastings water is I believe quite hard. Living on a farm I use rainwater mixed with a bit of spring water which does the trick. cheers, Hans
