shiuh
does anyone have a link or idea of how a automatic water changning system work? a diagram or pictures with how the setup is connected would be great.
HummingBird
Depends what type of filtration system you have. If you've got a sump it would be easy to set up an overflow and just have the pump turn off a few times every day. Have a float set up to a barrel/tap/however you want to dechloronate the water to fill it up
Wok
Or you could Hire someone from Student Job search to come on a weekly basis and do the water changes for you. You didn't mention whether you wanted a free auto water changer

malawi_man
When i was in dunedin at christmas they had an automatic water changing system, it was around $30-$40 i think, i had two air line tubes connected to this thing that hangs on to the side of the tank and syphons water out and squirts it back in, does anyone have one of these, i would have brought it but i dont have access to chlorine free running water. hope this helps Daniel :bounce:
