edmondsng
Hi, Do we need to use non-return valve on Co2 system? Recently, I find that the water is sucked out of the bubble counter. Is there anyway of stopping that from happening? Look forward to hearing from you. Many thanks Ed
suphew
yep you sure do. I have mine after my bubble counter just before my calc reactor. just use an air pump style one.
Pies
Yes you should. Also if possilbe have the CO2 bottle higher so water can't fall back into the cylinder. Pie

DubbieBoy
I would just point out that cheap'n'cheerful non-return valves sold at the LFS for air-pumps can be prone to failure when used with CO2 as the gas corrodes the rubber nipple thingy over time. Sometimes they fail, sometimes they don't. I wouldn't trust one myself.
