PENEJANE
I know that Java Fern/Moss are apparently good for low light but I am unable to get that from my LFS and they won't get it in for me special either its a matter of waiting for them to get more plants from their supplier and for me to get there on the right day and time to check what they have. I am considering taking out my plastic plants in my fry tank and adding live ones to help use up the bristlenose waste. I have sand substrate in this tank so I would like to know what low light plants would still grow fine in this. I don't want to disturb the sand by taking it out and adding gravel underneath or things like that as I don't have enough gravel to do this. Any help is greatly appreciated. Tank is for guppy and bn fry Cheers
Snowman
You could give some water sprite a try, goes mad in my 4 ft with 4ft twin tube and i have some in my ex-quarantine tank with 6 platties, the only light it gets is for 1 hr at feeding time and although it grows a lot slower than the 4 ft it hasn't died yet. PENEJANE
Cheers for the feedback but have decided to take the sand out of my fry tank and just leave the bottom bear. I was hoping to have the female bn in there and to breed them when I want them to but have decided that I am since I am going to be putting a divider into the 2ft tank I can then seperate them that way. The divider is to allow me to breed females with selected males after they have had their fry I have now finaly got one 3/4 black male just like my big one which I am very happy with I just hope that my 1/2 black female stays alive as her back has droped after her last lot of fry but she is still swimming about happily and eating with the rest of them
