Modern Angl
Hi, I recently acquired one of these from Animates, and since I know their track record for identifying fish, I search the net on the name and very little came up, looked at a few pictures and and found what looked to be the fish in question.... Mystus Armatus, also refered to as Mystus nigriceps, which is the juvenile for Mystus micracanthus, and a couple of others too, it then got very confusing.... http://www.planetcatfish.com/shanesworld/s_g_187.php So....anyone had any experience with one of these guys, eg tank conditions / suitable tankmates / diet etc... Cheers
Ira
I think they're actually Mystus gulio. http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/bagridae/mystus/450_f.php Planet catfish says the true M gulio is from india and grows larger and is a greenish instead of greyish color. Mine, I don't get to see often, but seems to be a bit greenish. Anyway, they're schooling fish, so I wish I'd bought a couple of them.
