Try telling this to the Guppies :):)

just wondering.... do all fishes have to be fully grown... ie a certain age... to be able to breed??? or do young fish breed as well?

Sorry Richard.... I couldn't resist :)

You find a lot of species that will breed at under a year old.

Love to hear about the loaches spawning though :)

I've had annual killifish (specifically Nothobranchius species)

attempting to spawn at 6 weeks old. I wouldn't be suprised if

you could reduce that to 4 weeks...

Nothos are somewhat, er, 'motivated' fish :)

Andrew.

Hi Sarco, welcome to the NZ Fishroom. :)

If you are referring to Live Foods, the company is Biosupplies in Auckland, and they are on Eskdale Rd in Birkenhead.

Their website is:

http://www.ak.planet.gen.nz/~bio/

and the phone number is:

09.4182352

Hope this helps :)

Now you can tell us all about your fish :)

Regards,

Bill (Pegasus)

Hah found it! Earlier in this very thread Richard said;

It is on the corner of Ilam and Clyde Road, I think the address is 399 Ilam Road.

Nice small shop with not a lot of fish...but some unique fish... they have a nice eel there... was a really cute dragon puffer but its been sold... and right now they have a freshwater crayfish in there as well...
