MRSkz
Just a quick little howdy from a TX southerner from alot more south than I ever thought I'd be. I've just started my first aquarium about two months ago and have found it adictive. I already have my second aquarium, have moved plants and guppies in although they look a little lost. My cory's seem to be able to actualy get something to eat while they wait to be transferd out of the "baby tank". Well that's enough of my ramblings for now. Just wanted to say hey, show my "face" and maybe fined a few other fishkeepers down here in the "arctic" *burrrrr*
Caper
Hi MRSkz...greetings from Cape Breton I bought my first tank in March....bought second one on Friday. It certainly is addictive Have you ever had fish before? Great place here...folks are wonderful and really eager to help with their vast knowledge. Have a good day! Faran
Howdy MRSkz, I'm from California. Raised there, actually, but it's all the same. I was in the Marines with quite a few texans and know they're good people. How'd you find your way to Invercargill? Gold hunting? Just playing. I'm new in the scene here (though we've lived in NZ for almost 2 years) and have found the people here to be great. You're going to have a bit of a hard time getting fish down there (aside from your LFS) so stick with it. Nicetameetcha, have a good one! MRSkz
Casper you got that right. I think it's probably more adictive than gambling. My husband has forbiden me from getting another tank this year I think he's worried bout me taking up the entier lounge. I DID pass on a 1.5 meter tank setup just the other day. To answer your question I haven't had fish since i was knee high to a grasshopper and them my mother did most of the "fish keeping". She's said since that she wouldn't have fish again lol. That's how this started. I got the 2 footer for my preschoolers and so it began. I've been in this frozen arctic tundra for a few years now Blue and Kim, bout 7 years. I can tell you this for nothing it just keeps getting colder!! I happend to fined the love of my life all the way at the bottom of the world so that's why I'm here. I have been keeping my eye out for the odd add in the paper selling reasonably priced fish, not just the LFS but haven't seen any yet. I'll keep looking till my 9 little guppies have some tank mates in that bit 3 footer other than the 2 cory's that are to be moved latter.
