Midas
Anyone ever had a pleco with only one eye? A 6" Pleco of mine lost one of his (thanks to a grumpy 4" male convict cichlid) of a few weeks back but seems to be doing ok without it now that its in a more peaceful environment. Caryl
I haven't had a plec with one eye but have had one or two other species who had lost an eye due to damage. They seemd to be able to adjust to the loss of vision on one side and lived happily in their environment.

peety
In the land of the blind the one eyed man is king... your pleco is just biding his time peety
Midas
I figured as much, they seem to rely on other senses a bit more than some other types of fish, so I thought he'd be ok. Mostly comes out when its dark anyway.
Warren
I saw a Pleco with no eyes at one of the fish shops that used to be here. It was like it from the day it was hatched. They nicknamed it 'Sockets'.
