Travis & Vicki
with the great quantities of water round the place at the moment, is it ok to do my water changes with fresh rain water, i have a number of buckets that were filled over the last 36 hours, all buckets safe for fish. Caryl
Check the pH. Rainwater tends to be acidic. Good to hear you aren't flooded (again)
Alan
With that amount of rain Vicki, go for it. The air would have been stripped of any unwanted pollutants in the first 5 minutes of your 300 plus mm of rain. Alan
Ira
I do all my water changes with rainwater. It's always a perfectly neutral PH every time I check of 7.
