Adrienne Posted July 26, 2016 Report Share Posted July 26, 2016 I would wait until ammonia was down to 0 as .25 will likely do some damage to the gills of the fish - even if it is not immediately obvious. You could see if a water change brings it down to 0 as it could be a slight discrepancy in the way you have tested.
