Some waves for a tropical tank

Hey guys,

I've got a 90cm, 200l tank and am thinking of getting a wavemaker for it because I've noticed some of my guppies going up and down the tank close to the airstone. Either these fish are adrenaline junkies or I'm not providing enough water movement.

I currently have a canister filter using sprinklers and a 400l/hr airpump with 2 airstones. I asked the vendor about this wavemaker - http://www.trademe.co.nz/a.aspx?id=1020974506 but am a little concerned about the 3000l/hr horsepower on this pump. I'm thinking of putting it near a large piece of driftwood that has a flat surface and it's where a lot of food gets stuck after feeding.

What do you guys think? Is this a yay or nay idea?

Thanks!

That size will probably be ok,  maybe get two.

I have a Jebao RW8 in my tank, it's a 120cm 400L.  Moves 8000LPH .  So, probably would be very roughly similar current as that little 3000lph one in yours. I could do with another in my tank.
