krawhitham
Hi everyone,Does anyone have any experience in using Sodium Thiosulfate to remove chlorine? Is there anywhere in NZ that I can buy it?Thanks,Dean
alanmin4304
It is the active ingredient in water treatments to get rid of chlorine and chloramines. The reaction produces some ammonia and prime will control that as well.
krawhitham
Thanks for the reply.I have just found out that chlorine is not added to Napier water, so that is a good result
alanmin4304
It didn't use to be in Christchurch until the quakes either. It is added in the form of HTH when repairs are done to the water reticulation system.
