jamosfish Posted August 6, 2015 Report Share Posted August 6, 2015 Any ideas on what this could be. It isn't a cut or anything like that. I got him from the supplier and his head and nose had a white looking film over it. Regular water changes and a bit of melafix cured most but this the nose got worse, but now is on the mend. As it is getting better I'm curious as to what it could have been? maxxi1 Posted August 17, 2015 Report Share Posted August 17, 2015 glad your pleco is getting better James. i wonder if it had open wounds from a fight or had cut or scrapped himself, i'm guessing the fluffy stuff was sapro which is a secondary infection. super clean water and keeping up what u doing should hopefully bring him right.
