adamh Posted November 3, 2014 Report Share Posted November 3, 2014 Hi I have two little Galaxiids, one has developed thick dark vertical bands (or thinner lighter ones depending on how you look at it) so I am guessing it is a Banded kokopu or perhaps a Giant. The other is longer and thinner and does not seem to have the bands - more like a indistinct darker stripe runing along each side. What do you think is it likely to be an inanga? kiwiraka Posted November 4, 2014 Report Share Posted November 4, 2014 I'd say banded, when giants first get their bands they seem to be more like spots that then become longer and connect over the top of the body, bandes just suddenly develop bands.
