Adrienne
I wouldn't be worried if he hasn't eaten for one day but he should not be fed a 'lot'. What do you feed him?
Benjansss
Just notmal tropical flakes (mix of brands)
Adrienne
One flake at each feeding I hope. Flakes are not the ideal diet, small pellets are better. In the wild fighters catch insects etc so something with some protein in it is much better for them and a variety of foods. If you overfeed the fighter will bloat and that can cause real issues. Benjansss
Hes in with other fish so i cant feed him just one flake i do also sometimes get pellets i always get top brands to
SanityChelle
What brands are you using? I find I can usually get my fighter to come up to the top corner for a feed of pellets before the other fish figure out that it's dinner time. By then, the fighter is full, so I put the flake in for his tetra friends.
Benjansss
I use different ones to insure more variety
Benjansss
Hes starting to eat a bit now but hes spending all his time at the back corners of the tank is this because of his age he is about 2 and a half
Adrienne
Possibly. That is a very good age for a fighter in captivity to get to.
