Brianemone
some of my corals would look alot beter with alittle more blu in the tank, the things i've thought of so far are t5s, pc's or changing the halide bulb to a different brand of 20k id prefer to keep the halide bulb as its only 2 months old. i dont know how to mount a pc or t5 in a position that it wont block light from the halide and maintain even lighting over the whole tank. any suggestions?? Ira
Doesn't necessarily have to be T5s. NO actinics will work fine, you just might need two 4fts where one 4ft T5 would have been fine.
Brianemone
4' prblem is the size of the tank in relation to the current lighting setup this is to give an idea of the space, i was toying with the idea of mounting something to the arcadia unit
cookie extreme
hi brianemone, seems like you have got enough light, how the heck do you keep your tank cool with that much power over such a small tank?
Brianemone
yeah ive got enough light already but want it to be more blue, the distance between the water and the light is quite alot so there is good air flow.
