Thr33Swords
Today I spotted a little Red Phantom Tetra swimming around the back of my tank! Not sure how old it is, but it's about 1cm long and is showing similar colours to a female. Here's a photo Now I'm wondering how to go about trying to breed some more. This happened in my 490 litre community planted tank. I have a net breeder I can set up, but I hear they don't like light when they're small. Still, pretty cool to have my first ever baby fish
Rabbit
Very well done, better off with a fry grow out tank rather than a net breeder.
SamH
That's an amazing first breed! If this one survived, I don't see any reason why subsequent fry wouldn't!
Thr33Swords
Yeah pretty stoked that it survived, especially with all the gourami's and other bigger fish around that would happily make a snack of it. Definitely considering setting up a breeding tank now. I have two males and five females at the moment
