Buddha
Has anyone kept these together? ive got reganis with my ocellatus's an its almost like the reganis are hunting the ocellatus. tanks foot print is 4foot by 2 foot plenty of territories for both species , have even removed the julis for a week an reintroduced after shifting things around , still no good. need another tank seems like the only option :slfg:
jackp
reganis can be pretty savage (i'm pretty sure they're the most aggressive of the julies). I used to have a breeding pair and the female would rip anything apart other than the male. You may have better luck with julidochromis dickfeldi, they tend to be a bit more passive. camtang
I keep mine together, but the Julies are pretty young still. I have not had any issue with mine at all in the same tank
