Never heard of the term mini mealworm when not referring to "small mealworms". tenebrio obscurus = mini mealworm tenebrio molitor = standard/common mealworms. term mini mealworms seems to be used more for small mealworms since the introductory of proper 'mini mealworms' (t. obscurus) to the market ...
