discusdude
Try adding some tetra colour into the mix or sprinkle some on top before you freeze it just for the first batch, that way they will dig thru it to get the tetra colour then acquire a taste for beefheart. Adding a few vitamins and minerals can also be a good idea and spirulina.
calculator
Teach by example: Eat it in front of them so that they see it is safe to eat?
F15hguy
have some fun, some fish like certain things some don't. I like to add a single sardine (from a can) to my paste mixes, and 1 kiwifruit. I know a bristlenose that will not eat pumpkin but destroys cucumber and his girlfriend won't touch it. some people swear by kumura.
Luke*
if you strip it back to just oxheart (and i recommend using gelatin as a binder) then they shouldn't be able to resist it.. just try a tiny bit at first till they get used to identifying it and get hooked; it will look foreign to them at first after other foods. Then the next mix you do you can add in other ingredients (carrot, an egg, spinach, multi-vitamins, little bit of garlic etc)
