cichlid7
What is the best way to get rid of white spot in a marine tank. It was caused from stress by moving fish to their new tank and has already killed 3 fish in the past week.

livingart
you can throw all the treatments in the world at it and still lose fish as the supposed cures can be stressful to the fish as well pristine water conditions and as little stress as possible is the best way to deal with it this gives your fish's immune system the best chance of coping with the parasite fish that come through it seem to build up resistance to it are you sure that it is white spot you have affecting your fish hyposalinity is to hold your salinity at 1.008 to 1.009 for at least 4 weeks after the last spot has been seen on your fish controlling your water quality and Ph will be important as well during this treatment
