ben19185074
No i don't have any spare tank...was planning to use a 10L bucket... Would be great if i can borrow some bit and pieces needed for the sick fish(Was planning to go do my shopping at LFS tomorrow). But the crown is only about 1 to 1.5 inch do i really need a tank to but it? (Don't really have that much space to fit another 3foot in...) reef
A bucket is fine. The longer you wait the less chance the fish is going to get better, The problem now is that the fish probably has got a bacteria problem as well. So you have to treat it for white spot and bacteria.. Have you done full tests on your tank?. It seems you are having a few fish get sick, I think you lost a lemon peel and have you lost anything else.??? White spot is not a problem unless there is something that is still stressing the fish. In this case get the fish out and put it in a bucket with a small heater and airstone. You could also try to turn the temp up to 30C. Can you post some pics of the sick fish? ben19185074
Yes~ i had tested my tank, everything is fine. The lemonpeel is just not eating in my tank~ i brought it back and it is loss to a starfish not because of the fish is sick. Other then the crown, the tang is having whitespot but it seems to be less then before...about 10 now Don't have a DC on hand now so i can't post some picture. It is looking worst then before...just floating on the surface of the water. I will go purchase the stuff i need to treat the fish asap...but i got work again tomorrow....don't think any FS is still open after 6pm... reef
I think if it is floating on the surface it is too late, i would put it down, place in a plastic bag and freeze it, Just pointless to let it suffer as i suspect it have a bacterial problem as well. Warren
It's critical to treat fish for sickness as fast as possible. They often go down hill very quickly.
